I've been thinking a lot about post AI future of education, so I found this "Working Paper". The Future of AI in Education... Really thought provoking... so much to digest but 2 things align with what I've been thinking lately. First, all students will have a "Personal Digital Tutor" that "constantly monitors each learner’s past and current level of progress, creates bespoke learning content/activities, assesses progress, provides in-the-moment feedback and encouragement, and then makes optimal choices about next lessons." Second; "The skills to work in groups, translate, undertake teamwork, and probe may well become more critical"... So I'm thinking that "classrooms" become project activity centers, mini "Makerspaces" where students focus on personal interest projects (PIP), or problems in their communities (PBL) and get access to a variety of physical resources to collaborate and develop solutions. We need a new name for this kind of learning environment...
